Section 7–ATC200-LITE-USB Issues Remote Electrical Downtilt System Handbook
7-2 May 2009 Bulletin 639519 • Revision D
7.4 See Different Number Of Actuators At Different Times
• Install latest software. From the Andrew Products tab on www.commscope.com, click on
Antennas→Teletilt RET System→Downloads→Teletilt RET Products Software, Firmware,
Tools, and Manuals.
7.5 Actuator Cannot Answer Request For Config Information
• Install latest software for ATC200-LITE-USB. Old versions cannot talk to newer fi rmware on
actuators.
7.6 Data Led Stays Red
• An actuator is stuck on transmit. Isolate, verify and possibly replace (Section 5).
• Actuators have same address and are talking to each other instead of to controller. Turn power
to controller off and back on. Wait a few seconds for actuators to reboot. Rescan.
7.7 Data Led Is Red And Response Is Slow
• Insuffi cient voltage supplied to controller.
7.8 Actuator Reports Invalid S/N (Z00000)
• Possible controller malfunction. Verify by substituting another controller.
7.9 Using VISTA
• VISTA 32-bit can use the USB cable. See Section 13.2 if there is a problem using the USB
cable on VISTA 32-bit.
• VISTA 64-bit cannot use the USB cable. See paragraph 7.1 for an alternative approach.
7.10 Could Not Find Antenna Definition File
• Remove ATC Lite application from PC and install latest software for the ATC200-LITE-USB using
default values for fi le locations.
7.11 No Devices Found
• Verify USB/RS–232 cable and power cord are connected securely.
• Verify if RET cable is connected to the AISG port.
• Verify power LEDs are lit.
• Verify com port is correct if using serial cable. See Section 7.16.
• May be com port confl ict at undetected level (if using serial cable). Reboot PC.
• Check RET cable connections.
• Check RET cables with Test Kit ATTK200-KIT.
• See Section 11 if using smart bias tees.
